Well, growing up, it seemed like adulthood was an eternity away. Looking back, it feels like it wasn’t long enough. Especially when I can recall major world events that occurred before some of my fellow adults were even born! Bob’s irritation in the final panel is intended to reflect what most of us likely feel when the younger generation gasps at how old we are.
