Well, if you’re ever hungry, just make Candace angry, then try to get her to forgive you after she’s done preparing the ensuing feast!

Yes, I know it’s a tired old joke that golfers hear. That’s why the boss is so unamused!

It’s all a matter of perspective. If it’s a cute dog or a cat, we react with love. If it’s a mouse or a fly, usually not so much!

Typically, when I see a vehicle with the Fishers-of-Men emblem on the back, the driver is obeying traffic regulations quite well. Apparently, I have not yet encountered Candace on the road.

If you understand this joke, please let me in on it. When I first drew this, it made perfect sense to me. Now I can’t remember exactly what it was that made perfect sense!

I keep telling myself modern-day people aren’t really this bad off…I keep telling myself…

I’m thinking that with drone technology, maybe it’s possible to continuously suspend a bird feeder in midair about 25 feet off the ground (well away from trees and buildings)? No squirrel could reach that! Oh, well.

Sometimes I like to playfully tease friends and/or my brother for not being as tall as I am. Well, surprise! So does Candace (even though she’s probably just a hair shorter than the average woman).

Another shot at the modern-day habit of staring at a phone at the expense of knowing what’s going on around you!

Despite my tendency to grumble about being asked to help (like Megan), I like to happily say “You’re welcome” if thanked. We’re all weird in one way or another.

I’m pretty sure I had just recently listened to the song by K.C. and the Sunshine Band when the inspiration struck for this comic.

I’ve found that pets often choose one human to sleep with at night and stick with that human. But once in a while a pet like Fido will spend the night elsewhere.

A bit of a recurring joke I like to relive is the idea that as no matter what the circumstances are, if you’re eating out, say something about work, and presto! Tax deduction! But it’s just a joke. I’m too lazy to actually keep track of all my “business dinners”.

Seriously, who really is the master in any pet/human relationship?

Years ago I used to create my comic art on copy paper with ballpoint pens and colored pencils. I used Canary Yellow for Candace’s hair, and once I began coloring digitally I learned to go with the yellowest yellow possible. Eventually I got to worrying that the colors I chose for virtually everything were too bright. But different folks see things different ways, and I wound up drawing this comic to commemorate that. The dialogue of Bob’s friend Carl (and Bob’s subsequent thoughts) in the last panel directly reflects something I was once told regarding my choice of colors.
